AGE GROUPS: U-09 – U-19
COMPETITION: A Round Robin will be played; the classified teams will compete for the championship
on the final games.
LEVEL OF COMPETITION: Sanctioned as a STYSA Tournament, it will be under FIFA rules. The
Tournament Committee reserves the right to determine the level of competency of each team.
PLAYERS REGISTRATION: Each team will be able to register (Forms will need to be filled out)
U-09 – U-10 12 players plus 5 Staff
U-11 – U-19 15 to 18 players plus 5 Staff
ONLY 3 GUEST PLAYERS PER TEAM, MUST HAVE ID CARDS, AND BE ADDED TO OFFICIAL ROSTER.
NOTE: The games will be as follows:
U-09 – U-10 8 vs. 8
U-11 - U-19 11 vs. 11
DOCUMENTS: US TEAMS
1. Official Roster from State Registrar.
2. Complete Medical Release with guardian signature.
3. Picture ID (School ID, Birth Certificate, etc.)
4. League Identification (STYSA Player Card)
FOREIGN TEAMS
1. Players must present passport at registration; proof of entry into the United States.
2. Teams must present player identification cards, FIFA International Player Registration.
3. Teams must have permission from Home Federation.
Team Check in: Local team check in will take place at L&F Distributors, DECEMBER 19, 2008.3:00 pm to
6:00pm. (Located at 3900 N. McColl RD. McAllen, TX. 78572)
Foreign Teams are encouraged to check in at L&F Distributors, but Foreign teams must check in with the
Tournament Director at least an hour before their first game, at the Tournament Headquarters, De Leon
Sports Complex.
To help this process move quickly please have all your ID cards and Medical forms, international papers in
order.
SOCCER BALL: The home team will provide the game ball. Soccer balls need to be stamped “FIFA
APPROVED”.
SIZE FOR GAME BALL: U-09 – U-12 No. 4
U-13 - U-19 No. 5
ENTRY FEE:
